What is the difference between the "CVK" and "K(8/9)" images? Also, is ssh v2 not supported on 4000 series switches? Thanks.

Hi Matthew,
For your 1st question please go to this link
this is the cisco ios reference guide.
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/620/1.html
for your second question on ssh go to this link and do a " search by feature" then look for ssh version 2 client support or ssh version 2 server support, then choose your platform .

For my second question I have already looked at that tool previously so i take it from the results that i got, it is not. However for my first question, the article did not have anything about those 2 types.

K9 images are crypto images that will support ssh . 4000 series sup II switches do only support ssh V1 . CVK is versions that support the GUI interface .
