Guys i m confused abt thi soncept....what th edifference between deffi-helmen an drest...i mean i know abt des, 3des etc....but what th edifference between these two groups an dwhat is deffi-helemen grouips?????? i cant get my head around it....thanks in advance

DES, 3DES & AES are encryption mechanisms by which the devices. These use a shared key to encrypt data.

Diffie-Helman is a mechanism by which the devices determine the shared key. The number refers to the number of times the result is removed from the initial calculation.
