Hi all,

We have an UC500 running and want a Linksys Sip phone to connect to it. The UC500 uses the CME IOS.

The phone registers itself correctly. I am able to call the extension. But when i pickup to answer, or to place an outbound call, i'll get an busy tone.

I've made the following additions to the UC500:

Voice register global

authenticate realm test.local

Voice register dn 14

number 214

voice register pool 14

id mac xxxx.xxxx.xxxx

number 1 dn 14

dtmf-relay rtp-nte

Username xxxxx password xxxxx

I hope somebody can point me in the right direction.

Albert

You need to specify voice-class under voice register pool.

Please configure a codec for the phone. If that fails, please collect 'debug sscip message' with 'term mon' and post it here.

Hi,

The codec configuration in the UC500 is as follows:

voice class codec 1

codec preference 1 g711ulaw

codec preference 2 g729r8

The Linksys phone is also configured for G711u.

The debug sscip message isn't understood by the UC500. Is there any other debug i can post that should give us any helpfull info?

voice-class codec 1 did the trick!

Your the master ;) Thank you.

Thank you for the nice rating and good luck!
