Is the NM-1CE1T1-PRI the correct card for a frame circuit in a 2811 router?

Hello,

I have a 2811 router and a NM-1CE1T1-PRI card. Is this the correct card for a frame cirucit? I have the card installed but I don't see a serial interface for it. Show ver does show the card:

1 Channelized (E1 or T1)/PRI port

I'm thinking I have the wrong card. But I'm not sure.

Thanks

Mike

It's fine. configure:

controller t1 x/y

channel-group 0 timeslots 1 24

the serial interface will appear and configure you FR in there.

Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

Thanks for the help... I see the serial interface now. In you example above channgel-group 0 timeslots 1 24. I could not put in the "24" Not sure I thats a big deal or not.

Ok, I missed a needed dash. Do:

interface x/0:0

shutdown

controller t1 x/0

no channel-group 0 timeslots 1

channel-group 0 timeslots 1-24

and you should be fine.

Thanks for the nice rating and good luck!

Paolo

Paolo,

Some very stragge happen on the router. The command controller from config t is no longer there. I'm not sure what happen, any ideas?

Paolo,

I figured out what happen. the command "card type" was missing. Not sure why. But once I put that back in the controller command was available.

Thanks again
