acs on NAC?

hello,

do i still need ACS if i have the NAC appliance say 3310.

Yes, ACS is required as AAA server in the NAC framework.

When you are using the NAC appliance you also have the option of using the local database for authentication.

This is recommended for smaller implementations only as it doesn't scale as well as using a AAA with the NAC appliance.

Yes, definitely we need an AAA server (ACS) for validate the request by the NAC appliance.
