Monitoring other sites with Ciscoworks.

We have a main site where we want to deploy Ciscoworks LMS 3.0 and have many sites from which we want to pull data to populate the Ciscoworks at the main site.

How can I go about deploying this effectively?

It depends on a number of things:

1) Number of devices -- if you are above the supported device limit you will need more servers

2) What types of links between main an remote sites? Will traffic be dropped?

3) What type of data are you looking to pull? Keep in mind snmp and syslog are UDP and there would be no guaranteed delivery across the WAN

1. We do not have up to 300 devices across all sites. So we are going for the 300 device option.

2. Thwe least line we have is 2MB between the site and we have more than 10 sites.

3. We will like to do things like using ciscowview to view switches, routers.

Get syslogs. Get logs and current configs. Also module/switch up or down info.
