Logfile about upgrading OS-version? Howto find information?

Our internal controlling want to know the installation-dates of every single AsynchOS-Version for our C100.

Which logfile contains this information? How can I 'grep' or search for this needed details?

In the updater_logs can you find the different versions
Try:
grep -e Version updater_logs

You can also use the system_log
grep -e Version system_log

Thank you for the very fast reply!

Can it be, that every OS-Upgrade (or every reboot after a upgrade?) generate a new logfile?

I ask this, because on every found updater_log.@20070906xxxxxx.c I can find another version-number.

I think you are right. In te updater_logs only Version 5 is displayed.
The best is to use the system logs.

There is no big differen in the two logfile-types for the version-issue. Both contains such lines:

Thu Jun 7 16:54:45 2007 Info: Version: 5.1.1-003 SN: 00123456789-ABCDEFGHIJ

But this is ok for me, I can print this logs and send this papers to our controlling.

In our updater_logs only Version 5 is displayed (nothing aboutb version 4.7 and earlier). In the system logs are also Version 4.7 and earlier displayed.
