Hi All,

I am littile bit confused that when SUP-IV is connected in 4507R chassis in both active & redundant slot , only one of the GBIC slot is active on both SUPs. Is it so?

Also, is this IOS dependent ..?

Hi Aman,

That is the way it works. This is not IOS dependent. Basically, the restrictions is to use only two uplinks (one each on each Supervisor) are due to the hardware design of the Supervisor. Therefore, this will not be fixed in any new software releases.
