I have passed my Intro exam a couple of weeks ago. BUT I failed the ICND exam yesterday because of the simulation question and planning to retake the test next week. I wasted too much time on the simulation question and ran out of time at the end.
I am still not sure how could you telnet to a switch from a router if you do not know its ip address. I gave "cdp neighbor detail" command from the router but could not see the ip address of the switch. With "ip int brief" on the router I was able to find the ip address of the router ethernet interface connected to the switch but you still need the ip address of the switch to telnet and do further vlan configurations. Any suggestion on this issue?? (There was no direct console option in the question for switch and you have to console to the router and then telnet to switch from there)
