I know that it is definitly possible to connect a Pix515 with a Linksys router, i've done it before.

For me it was actually quite simple: I followed the wizard on the Linksys and i configured the Pix515 as I would normally do.

You can find more information about configuring a Pix515 here: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vpndevc/ps2030/prod_configuration_examples_list.html

A HowTo for configuring a RV042, remember that this is for a Client connection to a Macintosh, not a Pix!) But it gives you some information about which steps you need to take to configure the Linksys:

http://www.equinux.com/cms_components/us/products/vpntracker/media/files/HowTo_Linksys_RV042.pdf

I hope this information helps!

Please rate if the post is usefulll!

Regards,

Michael

I concur with mfreijser, I too have configured an RV042 to connect to a Pix 515. IMO the most confusing part was on the RV042 side rather than on the Pix. I've become so used to the Pix/ASA CLI that sometimes the basic Web GUI forms and menus are hard to follow on the Linksys devices.
