CCM 5.1 Informix Database Client Connection

Hello - has anyone been able to connect to the CCM 5.1 Informix database using client tools, such as AGS Server Studio, to directly query the database? If so, would you please provide information on settings and procedures? Thanks!

I am curious, were you ever able to get anywhere on this inquiry?

Everything I've been able to find points to the DB being locked down and this sort of thing not really feasible.

Cisco is going to AXL route as opposed to direct DB access, which is why they have blocked it. You might be able to hack in, but with CCM upgrades, your code might break. However, if you go via AXL, your code has a much better chance for backward compatibility. Also, Cisco might not support direct DB access and it could be CCM support violation.
