1410 Alignment

We have 2 1410 bridges, separated by approx 1 mi, that we will be relocating to new facilities. Assuming that the bridges are reinstalled and generally aligned, what is the procedure for fine tuning the alignment? Do these bridges need to be set back to Install Mode? TIA

After the bridge link is established, the next phase of the process is to configure the bridges so that they become part of your network. You can configure the bridge using its command line interface (CLI) to issue IOS commands or using its graphical user interface (GUI). The following document has information on configuring the bridge.

I would recommend that you place both bridges back in install mode, this will give you a continuous reading of the signal level. And if you have access to the bridges themselves, you can either use a voltmeter or the LED indicators to fine tune your alignment. Then when you are done, simply take them out of install mode.
