Hello,
Several of our departments designate 1 person (usually a receptionist) to build a master list of fast dials. We create a service called "XYZ Directory" and add it to all of the phones in that department as a subscribed service. The problem is that everyone can make changes to this directory from his/her phone. Is there a way to lock down the service, or assign permissions so that changes can be made only from the receptionist's phone/account? Department staff come and go, so it would be preferable to build a service and only allow one account/phone to edit it, rather than putting everyone else in a restricted group. Thanks!

change the name of the service to something that explicitly does not include the phrase "Fast Dials" in the service definition in CallManager. If you want to, you could specify the URL with the userid and pin already included. That way you would not have any parameters visible (or changable) on the ccmuser pages.

Hi, the Service Name is already something else, and the Service URL contains the userID and PIN. The trouble is that users can delete entries from their phones as long as they have the service.
