WS-X6408A-GBIC problem

Hi netpro:

I find that module WS-X6408A-GBIC do not work . when I reboot the s6509 ,the system display "

LC_DNLD_START: Error - SCP send fail

2007 Sep 20 13:42:04 %SYS-5-MOD_RMVDNLDSTOP:Download terminated for module 3. Module removed

2007 Sep 20 13:42:04 %SYS-5-MOD_DNLDFAIL:Download failed for module 3 ".

The command "sh modeule 3" display :

6509A> (enable) sh mod 3

I think it means the card cannot talk to the supervisor and download the code needed . Most cases this means the card is bad and needs to be replaced .

Hi,

a Status = other means SCP communication does not work

1. try to reseat the module

2. share 'show test mod 3','show scp mod 3' and 'show scp failcnt' results

my 6509 catos is 7.31,and there is no command about "show scp ".

show test mode 3:
