Guys,

Yesteday something very interesting happened. I built 2 servers, a pub and a sub. However subscription was failing. For some reasons replication was not working. I checked my LMHOST file and the proper name to ip entries were there. AFter several hours of deleting and recreating new subscription, I decided to edit the entries in the host file to mirro what was on the lmhost files, and bingo!! problem solved. What I dont get is this? Is it not enough to have the proper entries in the LMHOST file, I believe the HOST file is only used for FQDN (DNS) ANy Ideas on why this happened...It was really frustrating!!
