Hi All,
Can we use ISDN + RF based connectivity in active active mode for load sharing of traffic.

hi
are they connecting to same end point devices at SP end ?
also what kinda applications you are gonna use over these links ?
are they of same capacity ?
If you are not using any latency sensitive applications or mission critical application you can try using that but if you are having some business critical applications i wont suggest to even try this off..

Hi Prem,
They will be connected to same endpoint at SP end.
Capacity for RF = 64Kbps
Capacity for ISDN =128Kbps both the b channels.
How do we send the traffic out both the links.
Should dual default static route with same metric out the RF and ISDN gateway IP work or there is any other alternative.
Pls suggest.

hi
you can use static routes to shed the traffic on both the links but do keep in mind the cost implications of having a ISDN line firing all the times.
If you do a simple calculation you may end up paying more for your ISDN (2 Channels) on an annum basis when compared to your RF link.
