Yes, if you modify the timeout nyour issue will be solved, but, could you tell me waht v. of IOS are u running?
Maybe you need a upgrade ;)

Amin, I understand it is something to do with timers, but what is it all about? Could you explain what is going on here, and how you arrived at the solution of modifying the telnet timers? I would like to understand better.

I hear that was fixed in 12.2(16)B, just a minor issue.
