Hi,

I have two 2950 switches, when sh vlan is executed one shows active while the other shows act/unsup.

What difference does that make please?

Thanks

Yes, this is correct, that's not an issue. The act/unsup means that this VLAN is correct but is unsupported for that switch, you will recieve that message in a 2950 p.e. when you're seing the status of the FDDI vlan.

TIA,

Regards,AL.

There are always predefined VLANs with special VLAN types that cannot be deleted. This is a history issue, and usually should be ignored.
