I am going to use an external NTP for CCM cluster. Do I just need to change the xntp file on publisher server to point to external NTP or I have to edit all the servers in the cluster? Thanks

Do this in every server in the cluster for CCM 4.x

Cisco document didn't specify how the subs should be configured, pointing to pub or ntp. I see my customer's sub pointing to pub while pub pointing to ntp and works well. Can you find the specific link/doc talking about it's necessary that sub has to point to ext ntp too? Thanks

Hi CF,
The NTP config can just be set on the Publisher and then leave the Subs pointing at the Pub. This doc explains this in some detail (NTP for Pub and C:\WINNT\system32\net.exe time \\CCM /set /y for Subs) This is how we use NTP and it works perfectly;

Hope this helps!
