I had a configuration with two routers connected via a frame relay link could connect via ISDN using dailer-watch when the FR link dropped. The routing protocol used was EIGRP. I've attempted to replicate this functionality with routers connected via MPLS using BGP as the routing protocol. It seems that once the watched route is lost (by disconnecting the MPLS network) and the ISDN kicks in, restoring the MPLS network does not seem to cause the BGP route (the one being watched) to install in the routing table. Reviewing the sh ip bgp output I see that two paths are available, 1 via BGP and the other is "connected" (via the ISDN dialer). How can I get the BGP route to install such that the "watched route" can reappear and allow the ISDN link to go idle and disconnect?
