I have two Cisco 3750G-48TS-S configured in a stack which are connected to HP DL380s and Equallogic Storage. Even though I do not see any port errors or flowcontrol frames, we're experience some performance issues. This may or may not be a switch problem but we'd like to rule it out. When we directly attach the storage to the servers, performance improves. Flowcontrol is set to receive desired (receive on was also tried). All traffic is local to the switch stack. Counters show no flowcontrol frames tx or rx. Running a "show controller" on the interfaces has no drops or errors.
Has anyone out there experienced issues with Equallogic iSCSI SANs and/or HP Proliant DL380 G5s with HP NC7771 - (Broadcom 5703)HP NC110T - (Intel 82572GI) NICs? Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot the issue would also be welcome.
