Hi Camila,
These threads have some good tips for this type of LAB install. You can also contact your Cisco SE and get a copy of CCM 6.X for installation on VMware for testing and evaluation purposes;
Hope this helps!

I have had the benefit of completing this task using the following exact steps:
1) Install W2k Advanced Server with:
Accessories and Utilities,
Indexing Service,
IIS,
Management and Monitoring tools
2) Assign an IP address, DNS and default gateway (can not be DHCP)
3) Install IE6 Service Pack 1 (ie6setup.exe)
4) Install W2k SP4 (W2KSP4_EN.EXE) DO NOT INSTALL ANY ADDITIONAL UPDATES
5) Install the old MS Java (msjavx86.exe) I'm not positive this is necessary but...
6) Modify the registry
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cisco Systems\Model]
?Hardware?=?MCS7835?
?Memory?=?1024?
?Speed?=?733?
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Spirian\System Info\OS Image]
?Version?=?2000.2.5?
7) Give "everyone" read rights to the \winnt\registration folder
8) Install win-OS-upgrade-K9.2000-2-7.exe (The server will reboot several times, I thought it was only twice but maybe it was three)
Install win-OS-upgrade-K9.2000-2-7sr7.exe (It rebooted when it was complete)
9) Copy "shutdown.exe" from c:\program files\cisco\updates\2002.7sr7 to c:\utils
10) Double check in services to make sure IIS is running.
11) Start - Programs - Cisco CallManager 4.1 - Cisco Service Configuration. Turn on the rest of the services that you need and go.
----------------------------
this worked for me first time - just make sure you've minimum of 1GB RAM.
