Hi Souvik,

Can you paste the output of "sh fabric error" also have you tried reseating the card into any other free slot to check if error follows?

Regards,

Ankur

Hi,

Thanks for your response. sh fabric error output is given below:

Module errors:

slot channel crc hbeat sync DDR sync

1 0 0 0 0 0

2 0 0 0 0 0

5 0 0 0 0 0

8 0 0 0 0 0

8 1 0 0 0 0

9 0 0 0 0 0

9 1 0 0 0 0

Fabric errors:

slot channel sync buffer timeout

1 0 0 0 0

2 0 0 0 0

5 0 0 0 0

8 0 0 0 0

8 1 0 0 0

9 0 0 0 0

9 1 0 0 0

We have not checked it in other slots. The module is now working fine in slot 1.

But what was the reason of such problem?

Regards

Souvik

Hi Souvik,

This can happen because of out-of-synchronization condition on the fabric-channel between a particular module and the switch fabric on the supervisor engine in certain circumstances.

The output you pasted make me believe you are not seeing this frequently and can be intermittent one time issue.

Hi,

Thanks for your response.

Every thing was working fine. Recently we got this error. Now also it is working well.

Is their any supporting document?

is their any remedy for that?

Regards

Souvik

Hi Souvik,

I don't have any supporting document for the same handy with me as of now. But this problem as you see is only one time could be at the time of boot there can be some miscommunication between your module and switch fabric which might have reported this message so if it is not coming continuosuly you can ignore it as imtermittent issue.

This is not a serious concern if you see it happening for the first and one time.

Hi,

This problem didn't happened in time of booting.

The switch was functional. Suddenly the problem happened.

Anything else you can share regarding this?

Regards

Souvik

Hi

I'm facing a similar issue with WS-X6724-SFP

It says %PM_SCP-SP-2-LCP_FW_ERR_INFORM: Module 12 is experiencing the following error: Interrupt counters cumulative, (10s critical/noncritical)

%C6KPWR-SP-4-DISABLED: power to module in slot 12 set off (excessive interrupt)

We had tried replacing the WS-X6724-SFP and WS-F6700-DFC3B still the same issue persist. We are using 12.2(18)SXF10.

I had attached further details to the msg.

Regards

Madan
