Unassigned APs on the WCS

we have one client that installed 700+ quantity lwapp APs (1240). they are using 8 wism controllers w/ a WCS. on WCS, we can see number of APs unassigned to maps. is there a way i can identify to which location map should i assign them. any workaround / solution ? pls help

The maps on WCS represent the real time floor plan. So if you know where the APs are placed physically, you can place the APs on the maps as well. If you are using the WCS planning tool, the WCS will predict the optimum placement on the floor plan that you uploaded to WCS. Based on the prediction given by WCS you can place the AP in the floor.

somewhere in the process, the mac address & location of the "unassigned APs" were not recorded. problem now is, WCS can see them up but client can not identify where exactly are they located thereby could not assign it to WCS existing maps.
