Does inserting a WIC-1DSU-T1 into 3745 require reboot?

One of my 6 WIC-1DSU-T1 failed on the 3745 router. I have the replacement WIC-1DSU-T1 and would like to insert into my 3745. Will I need to reboot for the router to recognize the new wic?

WICs are not hot-swap. You may even damage the new WIC if you do not power down.
