I upgraded a 4507R this weekend and left the conf-reg as 0x2102. Is this OK or should I go back to 0x2101?

If you wan't the box to boot from flash: you can leave it a 2102

0x2102 is fine if you have set the bootflash statement to boot off a specific code, as it will use this variable when identifying an IOS to load on reboot.
