Monitoring CSS connections

Hi,

Can anyone please suggest any tools (Cisco or otherwise) that will help us monitor in real-time all connection information to individual servers that are load-balanced using CSS switches?

Thanks

Pradeep

there is no such tool and I would suggest to use monitoring functions on the servers themselves and not the loadbalancer.

Gilles.

That's disappointing. All of this information is available via the cli, but it would have been extremely helpful to have a centralized GUI that shows these metrics in real-time from multiple CSS's.

Thanks

Pradeep

There is a GUI that can display information about the servers - it's called cvdm.

But you do not get information about each flow currently active on the CSS.

You only gets statistics.

You can also use the HSE to get similar info.

But you can't get flow information.

I understood this is what you wanted, so this is why I said there is no such tool and the best option is to look for something on the server side.

Gilles.
