Forecasting Packet Shaping load

I am working on a project which will require the shaping of 70 remote sites (15 are 1.5 mb and 55 are 512 kbs) from a hub and spoke topology. Currently we have two 2811 routers handling the load but without any shaping. My question would be if anyone has any knowledge as to the platform and model of router(s) which would be able to handle the shaping for 70 sites. FYI total average bandwidth to be shaped is around 25 Mbps.

Best way to forecast is similar traffic with similar config on system. If you have adequate CPU reserve, try shaping on several of you logical links and see the impact.

That noted, you might be able to get by at 25 Mbps, but you maximum shaped load is about twice that. Which might be a bit much for a 2811.

If you can baseline on the 2811, look at the information in the following post for additional performance data and scale accordingly.
