CS3550 WCCP cannot detect Trend IWSS

Dear Expert,

I'm currently trying to make our core switch 3550 to redirect all port 80 connetions to our Trend IWSS. I have added the below command:

1. ip wccp web-cache

2. interface Vlan #

ip wccp web-cache redirect in

I have connect the Trend IWSS server directly to the CoreSwitch.

It seems the CoreSwitch cannot detect any cache engine when I type the "sh ip wccp web-cache view" command.

Does CS3550 recognize Trend IWSS server as a cache engine?

Please help.

Web cahe is supported on 3550. But there are some limitations for the configuration . Take a look at the following
