Busy signal when calling to unregistered phone

I need to find out if it is normal for CCM to play Busy when calling to an extenssion on the phone which is unpluged and unregistered form the CCM.

In my test it is plying regular busy instade of fast bust.

Is it normal or should it play fast busy ?

I had someone told me me that it playing fast busy for them.

ccm ver is 4.2.3

Hi Zulfi,

For our setup if a phone is un-registered and does not have any Forwarding set it does ring Fast Busy.

I'm using version 4.1(3)es122.1, and get a fast busy when a phone with no forwarding is unregistered.

We've gotten around this by creating a "no-voicemail" profile, and assigning that to all phones without a VM box. Sends the calls to a call handler that plays a message saying the user doesn't have vm.

Actually my customer is could not distinguish

between fast and regular busy. The system is playing fast busy.
