CCNA certification exam

Hi everyone,

i want to take service provider CCNA exam.i am new to this field.what are the steps i should take to prepare for the exam? my ultimate goal is to take 642-611 on MPLS since i am very much interested in this field.the certification courses are very expensive.

There is only one CCNA, they are not particular to any certificate path, details here

As you are just starting out, I would recommend going for the updated version of the certicicate, 640-802, or the two step process. If you do go the two step route, then you would get an entry certificate CCENT.


The cost efficient way to gain these qualifications is to use self-study guides. The generaly recommended publications are from CiscoPress

I ordered all CCNA books from cisco press.

they will be reaching within 4-5 days.

for lab practice what should i do?
