CCKM set up

Hi guys,

I am setting up CCKM in my wireless network. I have several SSID on APs. Do I need to enable CCKM under all the SSID? Or I only need to enable CCKM under one SSID and wireless clients will get secure roaming ability for all SSID?

Hi Zhang,

CCKM is security mechanism per WLAN/SSID. It is not possible that you configure it on one SSID and it get enabled on all SSIDs.

It may be individual network requirement to have CCKM security mechanism on all SSIDs and may be some network may need CCKM for some SSID and 802.1x for other SSID and that is the reason you have to manually configure for each SSID which you want.
