converting catos to IOS

Does anyone know/has where I can get the steps to convert catos to ios for a 4000 series catalyst.

I searched everywhere no luck so far.

is the conversion for 4000 series the same as in 6500 MSCF?

You cannot change a 4000 switch to IOS . You must have at least a Sup II plus supervisor to run IOS which it comes with . No catos conversion for the older 4006 series with a Sup 2 .

I am working with a Catalyst 4003 series.

Model: WS-C4003

supervisor engine WS-X4012.

Can't do it with that thats even older than a Sup II . Catos only for that model . Only the newer sup's from Sup II plus up to Sup V run IOS and those ship from the factory with IOS. Earlier versions like yours cannot be converted.
