Hi all, im trying to configure an access-point model 1242AG with WPA, but i dont have a RADIUS server, and i didnt find any doc about how to configure it with WPA-PSK, is it possible? in the documentation in this link

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/access_point/1240/quick/guide/ap1240qs.html#wp45326

And...

"If you select EAP Authentication or WPA, enter the IP address and shared secret for the authentication server on your network."

But i dont have RADIUS.

Is it possible to use WPA without radius with 1242AG?

Regards,

Fabio

The short answer is yes, the long answer is it is not obvious

First using the GUI interface go to Security-Encryption Manager and select Cipher then TKIP from the drop down, dlick apply, you are done with this page.

Second select SSID manager,in this window select your SSID then go to the Authenticated Key Management frame select Mandattiry and check the WPA box. type or paste your WPA key in the WPA pre-shared key box. click apply, you are done
