Ciscoworks and SYSLOG

ALOHA -

We have installed Ciscoworks LMS 2.6, and I'm confused on the docs and the RME SYSLOG functionality. Is a SYSLOG server included or no? Can we analyze SYSLOG messages in Ciscoworks?

FYI... We've installed it on a Solaris box.

Aloha,

Yes, LMS's RME (Resource Manager Essentials) application does include a syslog server and you can use the SYSLOG analyzer functionality built in. Please see this for details as to what you can do with RME's Syslog Analyzer:
