Machine Restarts while trying to connect to VPN network

Hi,

I am using a Win XP Home OS with SP2. While trying to connect to our corporate network via VPN client 4.0.2, my machine gets restarted. I am able to access the same network via my friend's machine through the same client.

I am attaching the error message I am getting after my system gets re-booted.

Please help me in solving this issue.

Hi,

Did you view the technical information of the error report in the screenshot you provided which links to MS knowledgebase. You can get more info there and hopefully help provide you the root cause of the problem.

However, are you using a laptop/desktop which is certified to run in Windows 2K only and you install/upgrade it to Windows XP? This is common problem on this type of setup.
