Hi,
If a SIP trunk is setup, to a SIP PBX like Asterisk etc, can I have for example 50 users on the SIP PBX side, share the trunk to CM5 ?
If thats the case, I would not need 50 Client licenses if I had SCCP end points directly registered.
I may be wrong, but no license is required for a Trunk connection right ?
Or am I missing something ?

At this time, no licensing is required for a SIP trunk on CM. Any devices you want to register to CM either SIP or SCCP will require a license (phone license in CM3&4 and DLU in CM5&6). If the 50 users are registered to the Asterisk PBX, they will not require licensing.
Thank you,
Jon
