Can someone tell me if they think this is a valid address and mask..

because it looks valid to me.

I have this problem too.

This is a valid IP address and mask. It is a 26 bit mask and your IP addresses range from = network address thru = usable IP addresses for hosts = Broadcast address for the subnet.

A network address would have the last 6 bit set to 0, a broadcast address to 1.
