Hi All,

I am trying to install BAT plugin in CCM 4.2(1)sr1b but message is comming "would you like to reinstall 5.2(1b)" in Publisher.

I just wanted to confirm should I go ahead with this so as to avoid any problem in future in Publisher.

Also, is there any way to find which BAT version is presently installed in CCM?

regds,

aman

Hi Aman,

This version of BAT is supported with CCM 4.2(1) so you should be "good to go". Here is the Matrix;

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/prod_software_versions_comparison.html

Here is how to find the current version that is installed;

Finding the BAT Version

To find the current version of BAT, choose Help > About Bulk Administration Tool > Details.

To find the current version of BAT from Cisco CallManager Administration, choose Help > Component Versions.

If BAT is not currently installed, you can find the version of BAT that is available with Cisco CallManager without installing it. To do this

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 1 Download the BAT application from the Cisco CallManager Install Plugins window.

Step 2 Right-click the file BulkAdministrationTool.exe, choose Properties, and then choose Product Version.

From this good doc;

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_user_guide_chapter09186a00805560e8.html

Hope this helps!

Hi Rob,

Thanks for the help. My problem got resolved. After installing the BAT version 5.2(1b), I did not find option to upload /Download files. . We used CONFIGURE--->USERS--->INSERT USERS to insert *.csv file. Further, *.csv was used to update file user CONFIGURE-->USERS--->UPDATE USERS.
