Cannot Receive files from an FTP Server but can send

Have an ASA5510. Can SEND files from PC's from the inside network to a particular FTP Server but cannot RECEIVE files from the same FTP Server. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Kindly let us know your observation on the following queries.

Do you get any error message while trying to download from the FTP server?

If you try the FTP from outside the PIX, were you able to download the files properly from this FTP server?

Problem Solved! I needed to turn off FTP inspection.

NO INSPECT FTP

This fixed the problem. Thank you!
