DIALUP Connection VIA AUX PORT of the Router

Unanswered Question

Hi,

I have one setup.I am trying to dial to ISP via AUX port of the Router i. via dialup line.I am connecting the analong line to dialup modem and the modem is connected to AUX port of the router. The router initates the call once router sees the intresting traffic and then it gives the command to modem to dial to ISPs telephone no. Since we can hear from the modem that call is getting initated but gets disconnected. Please find the attached router config and the debug output for the same. From the debug output it shows that it is giving me autentication failure. Since their is no username and password configured from ISP side. This was tested by connecting the telephone line directly to Laptop and dialed to ISPs telephone no. with out giving username and password, during that time call was suceessfully made. But from router AUX port the call is not getting completed.

I will be thankful if somebody can provide me the solution for the same.

Regards,

Yash
