I need some options:
problem with end user when they try to transfer a call by putting the caller on hold, * the dn then transfer again to go to their voicemail. When 2nd softkey transfer is delayed so therefore the caller hears partial greeting and not full greeting so they are not sure if it is the correct mailbox. What are my options? Is there anything in callmanager that I can adjust for the transfer or is there something in unity that I can insert as a transfering prompt.
Thanks

Here's the solution for Unity Connection. There's a similar setting in Unity.
Unity Connection Administration >
Telephony Integrations >
Port Group >
CR-MRMC-FFL >
Edit >
Advanced Settings >
Delay After Answer = 2000 milliseconds (set to 0 by default) >
Save
No need to restart/reset anything.
You can also play with the number and find the most optimal delay. Somewhere around 1700 should work. Keep in mind that this delay applies to both directly transferred and normal calls to voicemail.

Start > Programs > Unity > Edit Switch utility
Edit
Incoming Calls
Set Delay before opening to a higher number.

I set this to 2000 and on the phone it rings once, I hear the user's voicemail messgae start then the transfer softkey comes up. I am confused.
