Hi,
does anyone know if the ASA 5500 support http redirect. for example, a pc on the internal network access www.cisco.com and he gets redirected through a proxy server on the internal network instead for login etc.... This saves the customer going through each pc and entering the proxy address within IE.??

Yes, this can be done using the 'url-server' and 'filter' commands in the ASA 5505. The caveat is that only Websense and N2H2 servers are currently supported.

Actually, you don't need to redirect http traffic on ASA 5500. Instead, you may use WPAD (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_Proxy_Autodiscovery_Protocol) to tell IE how to find the proxy.
