Solved: Softkey Template change for 7936 Conference Phone

Hi there,

Just an easy one. I can't seem to find a way to change the Softkey Template for the 7936 Conference Phone in Call Manager 4.1(3).

I'm looking to remove the GrpPickup and Pickup keys, as they aren't relevant for our Conference Phones. However, there doesn't seem to be a way to do it like you can with 7960 IP Phones...

Can it actually be changed, or should I just live with those extra buttons?

Hi David,

I was just working on a thread recently that addressed this same question. The word from Cisco is that the Softkey Template for Models 7935 and 7936 Conference phones cannot be changed :(

This saves me a lot of time - Now I won't go around looking for a setting that doesn't exist.

It's not a big deal that those buttons stay there anyways...
