Hold feature does not work

We have cisco Call Manager 5.1.2 and when we call a user at our other location, the hold button does not work. They hit the hold button and it does not do anything. It is like an inactive button. It only happens with extension to extension. If you call in from the outside it works fine.

Any ideas?

What kind of phones are your using? Did you try upgrading the loads for the phones. Check to see if you are using It happened once for me with DnD softkey, after upgrading the load file it fixed.

I actually fixed it. I was in looking at our trunks and noticed that the media termination point required check box was checked. I unchecked it and it worked fine.
