snmp input queue full on c4500

Hi,

we upgraded the c4500 SUPIV to 12.2.37SG.

1-2 weeks later we sensed that some switch does not reply the snmp packets and send the following message when snmp packets receive.

SNMP-3-INPUT_QFULL-ERR: Packet dropped due to input queue full.

We tried some method but the boot helped only.

The BUG tool did not help.

Regards

What does the output of show snmp show for packets input over 10 second intervals? This message above usually means that the switch is overwhelmed with snmp polling.

This could also be related to polling of the CISCO-ENHANCED-MEMORY-POOL-MIB

Try the following commands and see if the errors go away:

snmp-server view public-view dod included

snmp-server view public-view ciscoMemoryPoolMIB excluded

snmp-server view public-view ciscoEnhancedMemPoolMIB excluded

Then apply the view to the RO comm string

Hi Davistan ,

Thanks your answer.

Unfortunetly it did not help.

This row gave bad oid message.

snmp-server view public-view ciscoEnhancedMemPoolMIB excluded

i try to get simple snmp query ( snmp location )but it has given same result.

The switch is not overhelmed with polling.
