Coporate directory does not show on Phones.

I tried checking the Corporate Directory of Phones configured on CMM 5.0. On the Cisco Phones, when I press the directories button of a 7961 IP Phone(even atfer resetting the phone), I expect to see coporate directory but it only shows missed, recieved and placed calls. Is there a particular service that needs to be activated for this to come up?

one of the most common reasons for this to happen is that Enterprise Parameters has "URL Directories" set to http://:xxx/xxx and the Phone is unable to resolve the hostname due to no DNS Server or DNS Server is unable to resolve this Hostname. You should change all the services URL to use IP Address instead of HostName.

For Example, assuming My CM Hostname is CM50A and the IP address for the CM is

The URL by default would show:


You should change it to

And you should change the above for all Services, not only URL Directory.
