Hi Experts,
I know this is probably a silly question but I am just trying..:)
Well, I am trying to put description to all the 3750 Switches Interface with a list I have gotten in excel file, now question is .. Is there any method to pop over those info to the 3750 switch? :)

Hi Cindy
I'm assuming the descriptions are different per interface.
The easiest way would to be export your excel spreadsheet into a text file and format it so that it turns out
interface fa0/1
desc "jdsjdd"
interface fa0/2
desc "xqqaqa"
etc...
then just cut and paste from config mode on switch.
But obviously without knowing the format of the data in the excel it is difficult to say whether it is worth the effort.
You can also write programs/scripts to do this but again you would need the data to be in the right format to input into the script and if this is quite a rare thing to it probably isn't worth the time and effort.
Other than that i'm afraid it's one by one.
