I am thinking of purchasing a second hand switch for personal purposes.

The switch comes up with these errors at boot, is this something that can be ressolved with software or is this a permananet hardware problem.

"POST: CPU INTERFACE 2ND STAGE TEST: BEGIN

BAD NON-FIRST BYTE RECEIVED IN EVEN-BYTE TEST OF QUEUE 0

POST: CPU INTERFACE 2ND STAGE TEST: END, STATUS FAILED"

Sorry to say but it's a bad hardware so you have to get it replaced.
