Limiting amount of login on cisco router

Anybody has a clue of command I can issue to limit the amount of logins on a cisco router with IOS 12.2 .Am trying to limit lets say if a user is login into the router it will limit that user from openning up another session concurrent.I saw doing it via using a timeout but not want I want.Any help

I have this problem too.

For a particular user, username user max-links n.

For an overall limit, the router will limit when you run out of vty slot, usually 15, but on some versions 5.

I suspect that if you want to allow three people to login concurrently, but each only once, you will need to investigate something ike Radius and Ciscosecure ACS to handle that.
